Skeleton Key Poetry publishes unsolicited poetry in any form.

General submissions are open year-round and are always welcome. Submissions require a $3.00 fee for each poem to offset operational costs. There is no limit on the number of submissions. Simultaneous submissions are welcome.

Skeleton Key Poetry does not accept work that has been previously published. Poems may be self-published on social media, blogs, or message boards, but cannot have been published in books, magazines, or similar collections open to the public.

Skeleton Key Poetry does not accept work that has been generated by artificial intelligence.

All rights remain with the author. Skeleton Key Poetry requests first serial rights and the non-exclusive right to archive the work on our website. After publication, all rights revert to the author.
